Private loss-framed

“Social participation is known to have a positive impact on your own health and dementia prevention. If you do not engage in social participation activities, you may have to give up some of what you want and incur high medical and long-term care costs.”

Public gain-framed

“Social participation is known to have a positive impact on the community where you live. If you engage in social participation activities, community connectedness can be enhanced and the residents can continue to live in the community with security.”
