  1. a Those whose partner had insulted them or made them feel bad about themselves
  2. b Those who were made to have unwanted sexual intercourse with their partner by physical force or because they were afraid of what their partner might do
  3. c Those whose partner had slapped, pushed, hit, kicked or choked them or thrown something at them which could cause injury
  4. d Those whose partner restricted their online or telephone contact with family and friends
  5. e Participants who experienced any or multiple of the above forms of violence
  6. f Participants in this country who experienced this form of intimate partner violence, as a proportion of those in the country who responded to the relevant survey item
