• Age 18 and older | • Does not understand and speak English or Spanish |
• Any drug injection, past 30 days | • Unable to provide informed consent due to severe mental or physical illness, cognitive impairment, or substance intoxication at the time of enrollment |
• Any HIV risk behavior, past 30 days ○ Receptive syringe sharing ○ Engagement in transactional sex ○ Any condomless sex | • HIV positive, confirmed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) testing already available at each SSP or by FDA-approved rapid HIV Antibody test if blood draws are unsuccessful |
• Never used PrEP, or discontinued PrEP more than 6 months ago |
