    From various articles and research papers I understand that residual vapors from Chlorine dioxide can and will permeate skin tissue therefore entering the blood stream. Being a potentially cancer causing agent I would think athelic trainers and physicians should use with caution. Disinfecting and sanitizing with UVC light seems to be a much more viable method. It has been used for more than 70 years in all types of medical applications.
