Community level variables | |
Residence | The residents were grouped as urban, and rural |
Community-level media usage | Community-level media usage was categorized as low and high. “Low” refers to communities in which < 50% of respondents had media access while “high” indicates communities in which ≥ 50% of respondents had media access. |
Community-level women education | Community-level women’s education was categorized as low if communities in which < 50% of respondents had primary and above education and high if ≥ 50% of respondents had attended primary and above. |
Community level poverty | Community-level poverty was categorized as low if the proportion of low wealth quintile (poorest and poorer) households was < 50% and high if the proportion was ≥ 50%. |
