Contact matrices for all reported contacts and those stratified by setting in which the contact occurred for each wave of the survey and POLYMOD UK. Age groups younger than 18 years have been removed from the POLYMOD UK matrices to facilitate comparison with the observed matrices. Settings included all contacts, contacts made at home, contacts made in the workplace, contacts made at school, and contacts made everywhere else (including social contacts). The number of contacts in the September and December surveys were truncated at 75 contacts per respondent. Data were weighted on age and household size. The 2016 Canadian census was used for demographics to correct for probability of contact within the population. Missing contact age was sampled from age-matched participants’ contacts
