Depressive symptoms is indicated if Geriatric Depression Scale score ≥ 5 or where participant reports feeling depressed recently. ADLs is a count of 11 tasks participants did not perform independently from the Nottingham Extended Activities of Daily Living scale. P < 0.05 is indicated in bold. SD = standard deviation
