Note: We applied survey procedures to take into account the NHIS sample design and to obtain the population weighted proportion (%) for categorical variables, and the population weighted mean, median, and interquartile range (IQR) for continuous variables. All covariates differ significantly by cancer status based on Rao-Scott Chi-Square tests for categorical variables with a p-value of < 0.0001, and survey regressions for continuous variables (p-value< 0.0001).
