The following factors were initially included but were not significantly related to employment status and were therefore removed from the final regression models: (1) for female mental health carers: caring for their partner/child, and all interactions between recipient disability group and covariates; (2) for male mental health carers: interaction terms between recipient disability group and all covariates except care recipient disability level and receipt of formal services
