Kendall rank correlation coefficient measured no statistically significant association between the medical centers’ median and mean waiting times and the medical centers’ HR for death (Panel a and b). The same examination found a statistically significant positive correlation between the medical centers’ standard deviation of waiting time and the medical centers’ HR for death (Panel c).
