Results of an ANOVA showed that sex was significantly associated with Weekly MVPA while results of a correlational analysis showed that BMI was related to this same outcome as well as to the overall T2D related symptoms. Therefore, the path analysis was controlling for sex and BMI. Bootstrapping procedures with a sample size of 10,000 was used following Chernick’s (2007) recommendations to examine indirect effects.
