  1. aUsing a microscopy test: Positive B. anthracis was obtained by staining a dry fixed blood smear with polychrome methylene blue. A typical morphology of the bacilli was observed to be gram positive, thick, long with square or truncated and swollen ends with characteristic ‘bamboo stick’ appearance
