With these parameters, we have R0=3.9296 and hence the disease-free equilibrium is unstable and the disease is uniformly persistent. By the year 2018 the total number of newly infected MSM in China will be close to 4.88 x 106. That is, prevalence among MSM will reach over 21.7% by the year 2018 and the Versatile MSM alone will reach a prevalence rate of over 16.6%.
