  1. 1) Men and women were defined as abdominally obese if their waist circumference (WC) was ≥ 102 cm (men) or ≥ 88 cm (women).
  2. 2) Body fat percentage. The definition of obesity varied by age and gender: Men: age 18–39 ≥ 25%, age 40–59 ≥ 28%, age 60–65 ≥ 30%. Women: age 20–39 ≥ 39%, age 40–59 ≥ 40%, age 60–65 ≥ 42%.
