  2. 1RMSEA, root mean square error of approximation. RMSEA is a measure of the discrepancy per degree of freedom for the model and reflects badness-of-fit per degree of freedom. A value for RMSEA of 0.05 or less indicates a close fit of the model in relation to the degrees of freedom.
