Trends in the age-adjusted prevalence of low risk profile by sex, age, rural/urban setting, and educational attainment: the CHNS 1993–2009. The low risk profile was defined as the simultaneous presence of not currently smoking, body mass index < 25 kg/m2, waist circumference < 90/80 cm in men/women, untreated systolic/diastolic blood pressure < 120/80 mmHg, and not having been previously diagnosed with diabetes.
