  2. Data were adjusted for age, male sex, living alone, BMI, physical activity less than 150 min/week, education less than high school, unemployment, economic insecurity, trust in people, social participation, smoking and alcohol consumption.

  4. Associations are expressed as odds ratios (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) and were calculated using logistic regression.
