  1. Adjusted odds ratios (OR), and their 95% confidence intervals (CI), and p-values
  2. 1 At least one of the first-degree relatives had diabetes (type 1 or 2).
  3. 2 Systolic blood pressure ≥130 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure ≥85 mmHg.
  4. 3 HDL < 1.03 mmol/l (men), <1.29 mmol/l (women); LDL ≥ 3 mmol/l or/and triglycerides ≥ 1.7 mmol/l, or medication for these lipid abnormalities.
  5. 4 Normal: <94 cm (m), <80 cm (w); elevated risk: 94-101 cm (m), 80-87 cm (w); high risk: ≥102 cm (m), ≥88 cm (w).
  6. 5 Includes occasional and regular smokers.
  7. 6 Engaging in physical exercise <30 minutes three times a week.
