Multivariate linear regression with the use of generalized estimating equations of longitudinal brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV) based on metabolic syndrome (MetS) and its number of components. Both models were adjusted for age, gender, education, smoking status at baseline, time-dependent hypertension medication, and time-dependent mean arterial pressure.
